Sioux Falls Open Upright MRI, LLC is in Network with all major insurance providers including Sanford and Avera Health Plans.

The primary insurance we see come through our clinic is Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield. Since our clinic is an independent MRI facility, we are able to bill all exams in a clinical setting, also known as an office visit. Because of this, many BCBS plans dictate that the patient only needs to pay their co-pay for their MRI and the insurance will cover the rest. However, do keep in mind that not all BCBS plans work this way. In some of the plans, the patient is required to meet their deductible first. To see if you qualify for the co pay benefit, be sure to call your BCBS Insurance customer service prior to your exam!
